Maternity...

Would you believe me if I told you that she is 39 (and a half) weeks pregnant!?! She has the cutest little belly!

This is Kelsie, we were neighbors growing up way back when - and now we are neighbors here in Boise. It really is a small world after all :) We got together tonight to do a few maternity pictures, and check out a few new places to do pictures here around the city. After all the walking we did, I thought for sure she was going to go into labor tonight...

Seriously, I wish I looked that cute when I was pregnant. She was still wearing her regular jeans...with the button done up! Who knew that was even possible ;)

Thanks, Kelsie!

A few more...

I am just finishing up these pictures and needed to post a few more:)

Can you believe the blue eyes on these two?

This little man, was cracking me up with some of the facial expressions we got!
Before we finished mom wanted a couple of pictures of her Sienna's birth mark. She said it was a little heart on her bum. Seriously...it was a perfect little heart right on her cheek! (Don't cabbage patches have hearts on their bums?) It is so sweet! This picture doesn't really show the heart shape all that well, because her cheeks are a little squishy, but it is a perfect heart shape...crazy!

Landon & Sienna

These two were so much fun to take pictures of, and they were so content and put up with me manhandling them for over an hour! By the end I think they were worn out, and hopefully they took a good nap for their mom that afternoon!

Sweet Sienna...

Handsome Landon...

A friend of the family made these darling hats...and I LOVED them!

The pair of them...don't you just want to snuggle them!

FINALLY!

This cute family has been patiently waiting (or possibly not so patiently waiting) for these pictures to be edited. I took their family pictures a couple of days before we left Michigan. I was unable to work on them because we left the computer in Michigan with Andy. So I FINALLY finished them because I FINALLY got my computer back and we FINALLY got our internet up and running! YAY!!

Their mother, a very talented seamstress, made these cute capes. They are perfect for doing "tripple whips", running, and of course for spinning!

I do have to mention that Mellissa also made her dress, with no pattern!
People like her amaze me!

I really had so much fun this day. There was a lot of work that went into the day, but not by me. Mellissa was sewing and planning and packing and praying for good weather long before we actually started taking pictures. I'm glad that it all worked out and that the weather was so cooperative! Michigan weather can be SO unpredictable and it nearly foiled all of our plans. We were way too determined to let a little rain stop us though :)

I hope you like them!

It Turned Out To Be the Perfect Day...

for pictures. There is a story behind this session, but it is late - and I should be in bed. So the story will have to wait until another day;)

I knew Melissa would be looking for these so I am hurrying and posting them before I am computer-less in a couple of days. There are lots of cute ones so I am sure that I will be posting more. Enjoy!

She's Two!

On Andy's first day of school he walked past a couple of people talking and heard one of them say that he was from Utah, so he stopped to talk to them. Lo and behold they had a lot of other things in common as well (softball, hunting, fishing, sports) so it has worked out fabulously. Added bonus for me that his wife is darling, and my girls love their little girl. I am oh so glad that Scott and Andy met that first day of school :)

Anyways, back to the point of the post...this little cutie just turned 2! She was so well behaved, seriously, she did everything I asked and smiled at all the right times. Her mom & dad would stand behind me and say "show us your vampire teeth" and she would give this big pretty smile. It worked like a charm every time. I am definitely going to give this a try with my 2 munchkins...

We did her pictures on the 4th of July, so she was dressed for the occasion!

I know Scott was thrilled when we suggested we sneak in a few family pictures while we were at it, but he was a good sport anyway ;)

We are definitely going to miss these guys when we leave!
