This is Derrick, my cousin, he was in need of a few senior pictures. So while they were here in Boise we took a few - and here are a couple of the finished pictures...

These were a couple of my favorites and I couldn't decide which I like better - black and white or the colored version :)

Life...

Lately life here has been hectic:

we've recently moved, just down the hill - but still a lot of work

still trying to finish up law school

I've been working nearly full time hours

I am pregnant and getting bigger and bigger every day

(we're having a BOY! we're thrilled!)

our house in Michigan flooded...

we are trying to sell our house in Michigan

and as always we're enjoying life with our 2 energy filled little women!

Those are just the major things that come to mind right at this moment:)

I'm really not trying to complain, or have you all feeling bad for me, I'm sure that all of your lives are probably just as hectic in their own little ways. But because of all that we have going on right now I am going to put my photography on the back burner for a while. I probably will not be doing any sessions this summer other than for family and close friends. There just aren't enough hours in the day!

I do have a new little nephew scheduled to make his debut here on Monday so you should check back for pictures of the new little guy sometime here in the next few weeks I hope!

Blessing Dress

Phobee was blessed on the 4th of July, so we took a few shots before her big day. My mom is a wonderful seamstress and made this gorgeous dress just for her!

Phoebee

Phoebee is my new little niece, and she is darling of course! I have had these sitting on my computer for a while now. So it is about time we get these out there for people to see :) Phoebee is now almost 3 months old, but these newborn pictures were taken when she was about 2 weeks old.

This is Carlee, the big sister. She wanted to get in on the photoshoot - so of course we let her. There is a whole series of these pictures and they all just crack me up!

Bad News

We recently took a little trip to California....something happened to my camera

somewhere between here and there :(

When I pulled it out at Sea World to take some pictures of my girls everything I saw through the viewfinder was blurry. I thought maybe it was just me, but Andy saw the same thing. The pictures taken on AUTO still work, but I am going to be out of commission here on this blog until I either get it fixed - or convince my husband that an upgrade is now in order! I'll let you know when I am back up and running...hopefully soon.

But until then I will leave you with a couple (or a lot) of recent pictures of my girls. I took them around Easter:

I ordered these last 2 in 16 x 20 on styrene to hang in my house...love them!

S P R I N G

It is finally starting to feel like spring here in Boise. (Now just watch it is going to snow tomorrow! ) I have had a super busy past couple of months, but hopefully now that we are moved things will start to slow down a little bit. Probably just wishful thinking, but I can hope right?

Keni is already 6 months old. I hadn't seen her for a month or two and I couldn't believe all of the cute curly hair she had grown since I had seen her last...definitely a trait she gets from her dad :)

She was pretty willing to sit anywhere and everywhere we put her, and we only caught her trying to sneak a handful of dirt a couple of times :)

Blue Eyes

We ended up picking the perfect day to go to the park for some Easter pictures. These two were the perfect little models, every time I take pictures of them I don't think they could get any cuter...but somehow they always manage to :)

These two are now 9 months old, I couldn't believe how much their hair had grown since I saw them last. They look so grown up already!

Landon was pretty serious about it all, but with the help of Grandma being silly in the background we managed to coax a few smiles out of him. I'm sure she will agree that it was totally worth it!

They both have the most amazing blue eyes - I didn't do anything to them in photoshop I swear!

Their newest trick is standing up, this momma is going to have her hands full when these two start running around...which by the looks of things is not too far away :)
