Nativity Advent Calendar

I saw the pattern for this advent calendar a few years ago. I had searched all over for a pattern for a nativity advent...there aren't a lot out there. Growing up we had an advent calendar that we would race each morning to be the one that was able to put the new piece up for the day. Now that my girls are old enough to really get into it I wanted to have one at our house. The pattern that I used for all of the pieces is from Art To Heart.
Then I wanted to change up the manger and background a little bit so we made up this pattern. I love the way that it turned out. It was A LOT of work and time, but it will be a fun addition to Christmas at our house every year!

Wow ash! those projects are amazing. seriously amazing. I LOVE your advent calendar. I think you should make a tutorial on how to do it, cause I'm seriously interested in it....I'm not as skilled as you- but I love the manger and it is something that I want my advent calendar to look like.
and the doll houses. Those are so cute. Syd would die. She loves the little dollies the best too- polly and the princesses. it would be perfect, thanks for sharing.

Wow! Love it! I love that you changed some things to make it your own. I bought that leaflet from Art to Heart as well, but have not made one yet. Yours is inspiring! My Advent Calendar, a tree with buttons for ornaments, is one of the links for Piecenquilt's Homemade Christmas. A quilted Advent Calendar is definitely a labor of love.

My son and d.i.l. just picked out this pattern for me to make for them. I am thrilled but I see you made some significant changes. I agree with the other comments that it would be great if you would post a tutorial. Especially about the back pieces, the pockets, how you did the numbers, etc. I haven't done much quilting so I need all the help I can get :)
Thanks,
Susan

Hi there,
I was wondering if you could possibly tell me where to buy the pattern for this Advent calendar? I could not find it on the Art to Heart webite. Can you sell it to me or the directions?

Thank you for the great idea! I have been looking for a good Christ centered advent calendar. I will change it up a bit and make mine magnetic. I think it will be easier for my lil ones to handle.
